From world-renowned UNESCO landmarks like the Taj Mahal and the Pink City of Jaipur to the innovation and energy of Bangalore, often called the Silicon Valley of India, this journey offers a rare window into both ancient tradition and modern transformation.
Your travel experience meets the highest standards of comfort and safety. Group size is limited to 18 guests, allowing for a more personal experience as you travel together on one comfortable coach. Daily Highlights
Friday & Saturday, January 29,30 – Travel
The group departs together from the U.S., connecting in Europe before continuing on to Bangalore. After the long journey, unwind at the Radisson Hotel, where comfortable, welcoming accommodations provide a well‑earned rest.
Sunday, January 31 – Bangalore | Discover the City
After time to rest and adjust, enjoy an afternoon tour of Bangalore, including the Bangalore Palace and the Karnataka State Assembly. Gain insight into India as the world’s largest democracy and its growing global influence. Dinner and overnight at the Radisson Hotel.
Monday, February 1 – Bangalore | Meet the People
There is no better place to understand India than in its markets. Observe the creation of traditional saris, meet local artisans, and hear their stories. Enjoy authentic regional cuisine, prepared safely and thoughtfully, with explanations of daily life and customs. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Tuesday, February 2 – Bangalore | Education & Opportunity
Explore Bangalore’s role as a hub of innovation and technology. Visit a local school and college to hear firsthand stories of students whose lives are being shaped by access to education and opportunity. Optional evening outing for those who wish to experience the city after dark.
Wednesday, February 3 – Village Life
We visit a local village in the area. We truly appreciate India by strolling the lanes of a typical village. Meet villagers, learn about local religious customs and feel the warmth of the people. See how new business entrepreneurship abounds as you shop for hand-made souvenirs of India. Return to the hotel for dinner and relaxing evening in the spa.
Thursday, February 4 – Agra | The Taj Mahal
We fly to Agra and check into Hotel Radisson. The afternoon tour takes us to the must-see experience of the Taj Mahal. This ivory-white marble mausoleum built in the 1600s by the emperor to house the tomb of his wife. This world heritage site is a winner of the New 7 Wonders of the World! Return to our hotel for dinner.
Friday, February 5 – Fatehpur Sikri and Agra Fort
Built in the 16th Century, Fatehpur Sikri is a beautifully crafted red sandstone fort city and a classic example of Mughal architecture in India. Stroll the grounds of this World Heritage Site at your leisure then travel to Agra where we visit the Agra Fort. The afternoon is a pleasant drive to Jaipur where we relax for the evening at Hotel Radisson.
Saturday, February 6 – Jaipur | The Pink City
Jaipur became known as “The Pink City” when, in 1876, Maharaja Ram Singh had most of the buildings painted pink—the color of hospitality—in preparation for a visit by Britain's Queen Victoria. Today, the city is known for its bazaars, forts, temples, palaces and wildlife sanctuaries. We dine and rest at the Radisson, ready for one last day tomorrow.
Sunday, February 7 – Delhi | A Grand Finale
After breakfast in Jaipur, we travel during the morning hours to Delhi. We visit the Redfort and India Gate, then lunch at Connaught Place. In the afternoon we visit the Lotus Temple and sightsee Delhi. After dinner we go to the airport, tired and ready to sleep on our 1 AM flight. We arrive home on the same day because of crossing the international dateline. We leave India but keep with us memories of a lifetime. India is truly a land of wonder!
