Return to our hotel for dinner.

Friday, February 5 – Fatehpur Sikri and Agra Fort

Built in the 16th Century, Fatehpur Sikri is a beautifully crafted red sandstone fort city and a classic example of Mughal architecture in India. Stroll the grounds of this World Heritage Site at your leisure then travel to Agra where we visit the Agra Fort. The afternoon is a pleasant drive to Jaipur where we relax for the evening at Hotel Radisson.

Saturday, February 6 – Jaipur

Jaipur became known as “The Pink City” when, in 1876, Maharaja Ram Singh had most of the buildings painted pink—the color of hospitality—in preparation for a visit by Britain's Queen Victoria. Today, the city is known for its bazaars, forts, temples, palaces and wildlife sanctuaries. We dine and rest at the Radisson, ready for one last day tomorrow.

Sunday, February 7 – Delhi and Travel Home

After breakfast in Jaipur, we travel during the morning hours to Delhi. We visit the Redfort and India Gate, then lunch at Connaught Place. In the afternoon we visit the Lotus Temple and sightsee Delhi. After dinner we go to the airport, tired and ready to sleep on our 1 AM flight. We arrive home on the same day because of crossing the international dateline. We leave India but keep with us memories of a lifetime. India is truly a land of wonder!
